Chain Drug Review - Eisai, Janssen Revamp Aciphex Packaging
TEANECK, N.J.–Eisai Inc. and Janssen Pharmaceutica Inc. have unveiled a revised look for Aciphex (rabeprazole sodium) bottles and tablets. The revamped design for the product, a treatment for erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, features larger bottles, color-coded labels and imprinted tablets.
The new 20-mg. Tablets are imprinted with Aciphex 20 and packaged in larger unit-of-use bottles to accommodate pharmacy dispensing labels. The bottles now feature color-coded blue or red Aciphex brand labels to easily distinguish between 30- and 90-count sizes.
